I joined the chorus in 2010, have sung every part in the chorus, and have been on the front row. I was in a quartet called Executive Suites, and we received the Novice Quartet Award. I graduated from Missouri Baptist University with a double major in Music Education and Vocal Performance. I have led the chorus on the International stage in Las Vegas in the Harmony Classic competition and can't wait to move forward in a new light with the chorus!
I am a fairly new member of the chorus, having joined in 2015. I dreamed of being a Sweet Adeline for many years and finally was invited to a guest night with St. Louis Harmony. It felt like a sisterhood from the very start. Outside of singing with my sisters, I enjoy reading, travel and watching PBS shows. We have a great group of singers and would love to welcome anyone who loves to sing. Join us for a rehearsal and see for yourself!
Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I spent 13 years in various musical schools, mostly focusing on classical chorus singing. I moved from Lithuania to the United States, learned a new language and culture, and met my husband. We now have three wonderful children and live in Belleville, IL. I love trying different hobbies and crafts and am always looking for something new. Music is one of my outlets that allows me to express myself creatively. I have been in St. Louis Harmony Chorus almost five years and I am always learning new ways to improve my singing.
I’ve been in the St. Louis Harmony Chorus for 2 1/2 years. My husband, Mark, and I have 4 teenagers (the oldest is about to turn 20!)...2 are in college now, so I’m currently just homeschooling the younger 2, and enjoying the challenge. In addition to spending time with my family, I also love participating in various activities at my church, volunteering at Cardinal Glennon in the Ronald McDonald House “Family room”, and playing the djembe.
I've been a member of SLHC since 2010; I went to one rehearsal and was hooked! I've been on the front row and management team pretty much ever since. I spearheaded our annual trivia night in 2011 (we're always looking for sponsorships, hint hint) and have a knack for organization. When I'm not singing or working, I enjoy scuba diving with my husband, drinking all the wine, being a jigsaw puzzle master, trying new restaurants, and snuggling with my cat.
