St. Louis Harmony Chorus (SLHC) is a Sweet Adelines International affiliated chorus. Of 570 women's barbershop choruses worldwide, SLHC is ranked among the top 30 choruses! Founded in 1961, SLHC has been singing four part a cappella harmony in the barbershop style for over 50 years. Barbershop harmony--the music of the people--combines close four-part harmony to create a fifth tone, the overtone.
Rehearsals are Tuesday nights, 7:30 to 10:00, at Grace Episcopal Church in Kirkwood.
Rehearsals are open to the public and if you are a motivated woman who loves to sing and perform we would love to meet you! Come at about 7:00 pm, to sign in and have a voice placement to find out what part you'll be singing.
Contact our membership coordinators Jurgita Piotrowski and Susan Peck with your questions.
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
