Chorus Leadership
Sandi Wright, Director
A member of St. Louis Harmony Chorus since 1969, Sandi Wright has directed the chorus since
1982. She has sung baritone in several quartets, including two Sweet Adelines International
quartet champions: The Tetrachords (1978) and Ambiance (1986).
Sandi is a certified director at the master level and is a member of the American Choral
Directors Association, Sweet Adelines International and Harmony Incorporated. She is a member
of the Sweet Adelines International faculty as a specialist in presentation skills and vocal
production and is a certified judge in the showmanship category. In addition she is part of the
education faculty for Sweet Adelines Region 5. Sandi is a sought-after coach for choruses and
quartets in Sweet Adelines International, Harmony Incorporated, and SPEBSQSA.
Sandi is married to
David Wright, associate
director of the
Ambassadors of Harmony Chorus (SPEBSQSA)
and well-known arranger and coach. She is employed full-time as Director of Corporate Branding,
at Marketing Products Group (MPG) in St. Louis. Sandi and David have three grown children and
four grandchildren, and they reside in a city home built in 1904.
